The Dzogchen (in Tibetan: རྫོགས་ ཆེན་) which is also called "great perfection" or "great completeness", is a Tibetan canon offering teachings and spiritual practices specific to Buddhism of the ninth vehicle qualified as "adamantine" ".

Its main foundation is the absolute and spontaneous self-liberation from erroneous views, passions and attachments, made possible through irreversible letting go, which places the practitioner beyond the chain of causes and effects (Samsâra).
